Frequently Asked Questions

This is where you can find the answers to the most common questions we get asked. If you have any other questions which are not answered here, please contact us.

When are the sessions?

Sessions run on Saturdays during term-time. The Minis session runs from 9.00-10.00, Juniors and Inters from 10.00-12.30, and the Tweens and Seniors from 13.00-16.00. All sessions take place at the Scout DAC, Deltic, Glascote.

Which class will my child be in?

Minis are 4-5 year olds.

Juniors are 6-8 year olds.

Inters are 9-11 year olds.

Tweens are 11-13 year olds.

Seniors are 13-18 year olds.

We do reserve the right to move students into an older group - if, for example they are 9 a few weeks after the start of term, they will probably be put in the Inters even though they are 8 years old. We also reserve the right to keep students in a younger class if we feel they are not quite ready to move up to an older group. Both of these decisions will be made after discussion with parents/guardians. At times, we may need to combine or split classes to ensure an appropriate number of students in each class.

How do I pay for Stage It! Sessions?

Prices are £6 per session for the Minis, and £12 per session for all other age groups. There is a sibling discount of £2 for each sibling of a full-paying student. Payment can be made weekly, fortnightly, monthly or termly. We also charge 50% of the session fee for missed sessions.

We accept payment by cash, cheque or debit/credit card on the door, or via bank transfer or through the Stage It! App.

Are there any other fees or charges?

We ask that all students attend sessions wearing their Stage It! T-shirts (Black for Seniors, Red for all other classes). There is a charge of £10 per T-shirt.

We also sell optional Stage It! Hoodies, which are £20, or £22 personalised with the student's name.

We try to keep any additional charges and costs to an absolute minimum. However, there may be circumstances where we ask for payment towards certain activities (eg - Stage It! trips to the theatre, Seniors Residential). There may also be costs associated with providing costumes for productions etc. All of these costs will be carefully considered by the Stage It! staff, and we will let students know in advance. If you have any concerns about these costs, please feel free to speak to Helen or Chris.

Have you still got spaces in all classes?

The situation regarding class numbers changes frequently, especially around the start of a new term. If you are interested in enrolling your child at Stage It!, please phone Helen on 07793 549273 for more information and the most up to date status regarding space for new students.
